Day 128. July 3, 2012. Tuesday.
Followed my mom around doing errands and then went to church and helped my dad out. My parents have been pretty stressed out lately because on this coming Sunday (070812), they’re celebrating the church’s 33 anniversary and they’re having the official welcoming ceremony for my dad. I think today is the day that I spent $70 worth of clothes at Old Navy. AH! I haven’t gone shopping in so long… I can’t even remember what the last thing I bought was. So that felt REALLY good :). Not many people seem to like Old Navy… But I really like it! LOL. Not everything, but some of their clothes are really simple but pretty and not too pricey. I like the other brands that they have too, like J. Crew. but… Yunno, I have no job at the moment. -_-;;. I guess that’s one plus to going to cc!: I don’t have to spend as much money :D… But one thing I’ve really noticed about California is that… The cost of living is so much higher than east coast… Not only is the tax here ridiculously high, people just go out a lot more. Or maybe I just didn’t have a life in Delaware T_T;; Lol but seriously, gas is sooooooo expensive here, there’s a plastic tax on beverages encased in plastic (in addition to regular tax), street parking=money, etcetc.

![Day 124. June 29, 2012. Friday.
My brother’s last day with us…
I bought these new sunglasses. I like them. They don’t leave marks on my face and they are matte textured :D. I need to stop buying sunglasses…
The church kids got together to throw my brother a bit of a farewell gathering. and OH MYYYYYYYYYY. It was the strangest place I have ever been in my life… So apparently Berkeley is the hipster capital of the world, or so I’ve been told… And although this place is not in Berkeley, Berkeley is still relatively close to Oakland. The restaurant was in a modified warehouse and… The inside was so dim so the pictures came out really bad… And there was a DJ! So loud… and the bathrooms were kind of like airport bathrooms and they were really freaky… They had these TVs inside and it was showing a static-y channel or were playing a blue screen… So creepy. And I had brussel sprouts, LAMB CHEEKS! (sooooooooo goooooooood & first time), mussels, RAW BEEF! (woah~. my first time!), soft-shell crab sandwiches, and fried chickennnnnnn! yummmmmmmmm, fried chicken<3. If I took my mom to this place, she would absolutely die lololol. It was so loud that you would have to scream really loudly to get the person across from you’s attention.
And then afterwards, we went to Fenton’s which is shown in Pixar’s movie “Up” [LINK]. I think that’s pretty darn neat… The Pixar Animation studio is in Emeryville (about 15 minutes away from my house). Fenton’s created Rocky Roads ice cream flavor so I got that one :). Verrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyy interesting night.](http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m6iumivp3b1rpkynio1_500.jpg)
